Our Pastor

Our Pastor

Rev. Ronald L. White Sr.

Reverend Ronald L. White, Sr. was born on September 17, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1980, while attending the Mt. Pisgah C.M.E. Church in Baltimore, Maryland, he gave his life to God by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Shortly after he soon was called to preach the gospel of our Lord and has never looked back. Rev. White was licensed as a Local Preacher in 1984, ordained both Local Deacon and Traveling Elder on July 28, 1988 at Hopps Memorial C.M.E. Church in Syracuse, New York. Since 1988, Pastor Ron has served in the itinerary of the C.M.E. Church, while working 27 years as a Sr. Prof. Staff member of the Johns Hopkins Univ. Applied Physics Laboratory located in Laurel Maryland. He has served churches in the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia areas while in the New York / Washington Annual Conference. He currently serves faithfully in the Carolina Conference as the beloved pastor of Young Missionary Temple C.M.E. Church in Raleigh, North Carolina since July, 2010.
Pastor White is married to First Lady Stephanie R. White. He is the loving, caring and proud father of Ronald Jr. (LaToya), Angel C. White both of Baltimore, Maryland, and Zavier Ryals.  He is the very proud grandfather to Ronald III, and newly born Royce.  We are blessed and highly favored to have one of the anointed leaders of our denomination to shepherd our congregation.
Through his leadership and vision, God has taken us to higher ground. Pastor Ron is a visionary, very loving, knowledgeable, and spirit-filled person who always seeks ways to empower and motivate disciples of all ages. He's always over and beyond in his service unto the Lord Jesus Christ.

He embodies the song:
“If I can help somebody as I travel along,
If I can cheer someone with a word or a song,
If I can show somebody who is going wrong,
Then my living will not be in vain.”
