Rev. McAllister was born in Petersburg Virginia to Annie O. Foster. She completed her education at Person-Albion High School in Franklinton, N.C. Matriculated at Shaw University where a Bachelor of Arts degree was bestowed upon her in 1969.
Being raised in a God fearing home by her grandparents, she accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. As years progressed, she became a First Lady for 27 years and served in numerous capacities in the church. In pursuit of God’s will, she accepted her calling into the ministry in 2002. Under the mentoring of her husband, the late Bishop T. McAllister Jr., she fostered admiration and respect for great leaders who impact the lives of people to be all that God created them to be.
She served as pastor of “On My Way To Heaven Church” for seven year.
God opened a great door of opportunity in the year 2011 at Young Missionary Temple CME Church. By hearing the word of God through the preaching of Pastor Ronald L. White, Sr., she joined and actively serves on the ministerial staff.
She is the devoted and proud mother of Jocelin and Jacinth and grandmother to Jalon. She is grateful to the Lord for her family and for the time He has allowed her to dedicate to being a Godly leader in the home, community and church.
