Rev. Margarine Macklin Hargrove was born in Nash County, North Carolina. She was educated in the Nash County public school system. She later moved to East Orange, New Jersey, where she attended East Orange Business School. Afterwards, she worked in advertising for Sunbeam corporation for many years.
Rev. Hargrove is the mother of 5 boys and 1 girl who she loves with all her heart. Rev. Hargrove moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, where she attended Wake Technical College and earned a Certificate in Business Administration & Psychology. Rev Hargrove also has certificates in Biblical Counseling, Hermenutics, and Life Way courses. She has also worked for United Carolina Bank as a teller-trainer.
The Lord Jesus Christ called her to the ministry in 1992; she was ordained on September 26, 1999, at New Canaan Baptist Church in Raleigh.
Rev. Hargrove joined Young Missionary Temple in May 2011. She loves the teaching and the discipleship training along with the growth that she has experienced at YMT. "Many people are thirsty for learning and come to obtain spiritual knowledge more than membership."
